As appears from the Crown Solicitor's minute of the 27th April an action was commenced in the name of the Attorney General and the evidence of Mr. Gale was taken de bene esse.

Counsel are now engaged in preparing a Special Case

to be submitted to the other side.

The Action has not been pressed yon, as upon the 18th July a suggestion was made to the Defendant'a Solicitors that

damages were if their clients were prepared to admit that some due the amount of such damages might be left to arbitration.

To this suggestion the Defendants have as yet given no definite reply, as they wish to communicate with their

Directors in London.
